I have sheets of physical therapy exercises I am slowly easing back into. I cannot lie flat in a bed, so I sleep in a wing back chair I have with 2 plastic containers full of some papers I have stored to prop up m legs. On top of the containers, I have 2 sofa pillows to make them comfier. My goal is to do exercises to reduce my back pain and lose enough weight to sleep on a bed.
Also, I have been looking for simple beginning Tai Chi videos; lots are on Youtube. I will ease myself into those once I feel I can actually add those gradually. I want to do mostly the pt exercises to begin with first because I remember how much those have helped me in the past.
My chronic fatigue really makes it hard to get anything done. I have to break everything down into tiny steps and hope I can do more the next day. It took me forever to pace myself because if I overdid myself, I paid for it dearly. It would take me weeks to get back to where I was. In the meanwhile, trash piled up, laundry piled up, I needed to get to the store, the doctor, and the struggle was a mountain I could not get around or over.
But, I do not give up; I get up every morning and do my best to do my best every day.
Anybody out there relate to this? How do you manage? Does anything help you?
